Quality Assurance Engineer,

Seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for our plastics film manufacturing facility in Lolita, TX. Minimum of an Associate’s degree required - BS or MS degree or equivalent years experience in the BOPP film industry or related plastic industries preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for a chemical engineer or chemist with production experience in plastics processing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement programs and procedures to assure continued improvement in quality and productivity in the manufacturing processes.
- Consult with plant management, engineering and R&D in identifying and implementing improvements in equipment and quality assurance programs based on the needs of the customer.
- Contribute to the overall analysis and resolution of customer complaints from beginning to end.
- Review all new and revised film property specification sheets.
- Assist quality control department in data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting procedures.
- Support operations by providing training when necessary, and reporting the progress of corrective actions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Associate’s Degree
- 5+ years experience in chemical and/ or plastics manufacturing

Export Marketing Specialist-Latin American Market with MBA, or MS in Marketing wanted for manufacturing company in Livingston, NJ to perform the following:
- Promote, sell and export Polypropylene and Polyvinyl Chloride Sheets to U.S., Central/South America and Caribbean markets;
- Monitor export sales trends and explore new marketing channels. Develop advanced statistical models for strategic marketing plans;
- Provide expert advice on Latin American marketing and research methodologies. Study and analyze legal, regulatory, customs and cultural issues;
- Apply quantitative and qualitative research to address Latin America PVC Sheet and PP Profile industry. Provide business intelligence information to top management;
- Conduct SWOT analysis on competitors;
- Collect & analyze data on customer preference/buying pattern. Build consumer behavior models using multivariate techniques, including regression & discriminate analysis, and cluster analysis;
- Calculate and integrate complex pricing, shipping, volume parameters, and variable costs for both US domestic and export sales;
- Assist customers to prepare import documents to ensure compliance with Latin America regulations;
- Review product specifications and discuss with customers. Negotiate contracts and bid proposals;
- Develop B2B eBusiness strategies and integrate eCommerce interoperability into corporate model to increase market potential.
Specific Skills and other Requirements:
- Must have knowledge of Quantitative Analysis; Supply Chain Management; SWOT Model; Multicultural and International Marketing Research; International Trade Documentation
- Must be familiar with regulatory restrictions in the U.S., and Latin America.
